While Pokemon has been around for over two decades the fan base has not let up. It’s grown significantly over the past few years, too. For some reason we just can’t seem to get enough of the cute (and often ferocious) Pocket Monsters, can we?
No matter how many times we’ve played and leveled up it’s also a hassle to remember what every move does and what every TM/HM is. Thankfully the internet is never too far away and a quick search can tell you what you need to know. There are over 800 moves (including Generation I through Generation VIII). Imagine having to be the ones coming up with those and deciding all the particulars – that must be crazy!
We can all agree, however, that knowing what your moves can do, the amount of damage they can cause, and the different effects they can have is Extremely Important when playing the game. Using the wrong move simply because you’re not 100% sure on what it does can literally make or break a battle. And we’ve all been there.

Knowing your strengths and your opponent’s weaknesses is a Must when trying to make it through to the Elite Four. Many people usually have a favorite Pokemon and, ultimately, a favorite move that their Pokemon does. It’s just part of the game, kinda like filling your bag with a bunch of TMs you’re never going to use.
